Production method: Hand-plucked and manufactured in small sized family enterprise (see video)
Cooling and storage: till May 7th 2018 at 4°C – after not cooled, protected by multi-layered bags
Infusion color: ruby red
brewing: approx. 4 infusions "Grandpa-Style" at 80-85°C
Background information to the source: This white tea was purchased during our visit in Liyang at Mr. Zhang’s small business. He’s the cousin of one of our Chinese friends living in Germany. That’s how we got in touch.
About Tianmuhu Black tea: the annual output of this area is rather small with approx. 60 t. However because of the nature reserve status the water, air and soil is rather clean. Moreover the excessive use of plant protection agents is prohibited.
