Menghai Dayi was as we know it in about founded in 1940. Only when sole factory which was distributed by CNNP, today with its own brand called Dayi 大 益 (since 1996). Location is also in Menghai. Menghai factory has perhaps the greatest reputation among major tea factories and this is not least attributable to the long history, and was next to the Menghai Kunming Factory, the first factory of "shu" Pu-erh made. An anti-counterfeiting system in the package inserts (neifei) built - Because of today enduring popularity of Menghai Dayi in 2006 - similar bills.
Known Menghai blends include: 7432, 7532, 7572, 7582, 7742, 8542, 8582, 8972, 0622 (all sheng) and 7262, 7552, 7562, 7572, 7592, 7632, 7672, 7752, 8562, 8592, 0532 , 0562 (all shu).
